Made of ultra strong, lightweight polymer material and aircraft aluminum, the AeroShield is designed to flow with the lines of your vehicle. You can even paint the AeroShield to match your vehicle.
The AeroShield comes completely assembled, ready for quick installation on almost any vehicle using the appropriate installation kit (included in the box).
In the flat position, the AeroShield also reduces tailgate drag for pick-ups by deflecting the wind over the truck box.
Easily adjustable heights
The Aeroshield Wind Deflector can be adjusted to virtually any angle, creating maximum aerodynamic efficiency by directing the air over the top and sides of the trailer, and it quickly and easily folds flat when not in use.
And what is the point of making the angle adjustable, if it is not easy to do? Our hinges use a twist on locking mechanism that are secure with hand tightening, however are easily unlocked and set into a new position.
Adjustable to any angle
Our Aeroshield Wind Deflector can be adjusted to any angle – up to almost 50°s! This feature makes our roof mounted wind deflector flexible enough to be used with any trailer unit no matter what you’re pulling. Great for pulling everything from 5th wheel RV’s, travel trailers, horse trailers, utility trailers – even great for cube vans!
Also since our wind deflector is easy to remove; one unit can be used on multiple vehicle combinations. Use it to pull your RV down south, and then use it on your car to pull a utility trailer. The perfect angle can be found every time.
Fits all standard sized vehicles
The Aeroshield Wind Deflector comes in two sizes that have been designed to fit all standard sized vehicles. Our larger size fits all full size pickup truck and cube vans, while our smaller size is perfect for cars, SUV's, and minivans. See our sizing chart to determine the best fit for you.
Rooftop mounted
Rooftop mounted wind deflectors have many advantages to old style wind deflectors that attach to a "headache" rack that slides into the stake pockets of a pick-up truck.
- You can only use them if you have a truck.
- The tubes in the stake pockets flex in the wind leading to spider web cracking in the vehicle’s paint.
- Some of these types of wind deflectors have actually hit the trailer.
- Due to the headache rack, stake pocket wind deflectors are bulky, have a higher overall cost, higher shipping costs, and are more difficult to remove and store.
Roof mounted wind deflectors are easy to install, remove, and can be used on many other vehicles including minivans, SUV’s, and even cube vans.

The Aeroshield Wind Deflector is securely fastened to your roof with 4 nylon straps and vinyl coated hooks that attach between the door and roof. This mounting method secures the wind deflector while making the unit very easy to remove. Additionally the vinyl coated hook, and nylon straps are safe for your vehicle's finish.
Suction Cup Feet
Older style roof mounted wind deflectors required owners to actually drill holes into their vehicle for installation. Obviously this was not an option for most RVer's as these holes would drastically reduce their vehicle's resale value.
